Rivkin Center

Since 2000, BDA has donated more than $600,000 to the Marsha Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer Research. These funds have directly supported critical cancer research, including the development of a symptom-screening questionnaire designed to boost early detection of ovarian cancer. BDA co-founders Eric Bensussen and Jay Deutsch’s passion for the Rivkin Center stems from personal family experiences with the disease.

“At BDA, we believe strongly in the credo of civic responsibility and giving back to our community,” Bensussen said. “So many individuals at BDA have been personally affected by cancer so we feel especially grateful that we have this opportunity to participate in making a real difference in the lives of people in our own community and beyond.”

BDA sponsors the annual Swedish SummeRun 5K/10K each July. The event has raised nearly $4 million for the Rivkin Center.

“For more than a decade now, BDA has worked tirelessly to support our organization

and we are deeply grateful for all of its efforts. Many companies make contributions to

organizations like ours, but BDA is different because the spirit of giving back to the

community is deeply reflected in its own corporate culture. We applaud the efforts of

BDA and all of its employees in helping us find a cure and improve the lives of cancer

patients everywhere.”
